“Can You See Me?” exists to bring awareness of the millions of men, women, and children who are currently trapped in slavery across the world. By partnering with law enforcement, governments, businesses, and NGOs, the goal is to turn awareness into action
The “Can You See Me?” Campaign reminds us as citizens to be aware, on alert, and looking to help anyone in need, and in this case, a trafficking victim who may be silently crying out for help. Here’s a photo of the “Can You See Me?” Campaign in Heathrow Airport in England.
Places of transportation like airports and train stations, motels/hotels, as well as first responder and educational environments are often where human trafficking victims find themselves feeling invisible and unable to ask for help.
A21 produced a realistic video that shows the “invisibility” these victims feel and if we can be aware of the signs, we can rescue many more victims of this horrific organized crime. (Be aware this video mature content if you have young ones around.)
